'The Hollywood Librarian' screens at Cairns Libraries

Thanks to everyone who came to The Hollywood Librarian screening last night. I thought it was a wonderful film; funny at one moment, and then it moved me to tears at the next. I think we all left very proud to be librarians. I highly recommend the film to those of you who didn’t come, but make sure you watch it with other librarians who will be on the same wavelength. My thanks to ALIA Quorum and the State Library of Queensland for providing us with the DVD, and to Sally-Ann Goeldner and Cairns Libraries for providing us with a venue.

Check out The Hollywood Librarian website for more details about the film.
