Supporting clients with online technologies

Thank you to everyone who contributed to our Professional Development day – presenters, panel members, helpers, and attendees. The willingness of JCU Library to host the day for local librarians deserves a special mention. Feedback received from attendees was very positive, and included useful ideas and suggestions for next time.

We both continue to learn from our experiences organising these events, and it gives us an opportunity to use and explore online tools in a practical way. We hope to present an even better event in the second half of 2011, so while this year’s event is still in your minds, please give some thought to topics we could discuss, workshop themes, or format of the day. We would greatly appreciate your views and assistance. We hope we will see you all at the next PD day in 2011.
