Santa Claus is visiting JCU's Library - Cairns Campus

There was much surprise in the JCU's Library in Cairns on Friday morning!! Santa Claus had visited the library the day before and enjoyed it so much that he decided to stay here with his sleigh. Security is still searching for his missing reindeer in the forest surrounding the library.

After the successful and impressive Christmas tree created with more than 240 books last year, the challenge was on for this year's Christmas display.
A creative team of Library staff have constructed Santa Claus with his sleigh, made with, you guessed it, bounded serials! A great unveiling of the two ephemeral sculptures for Christmas was done in the JCU Cairns Library foyer! The reaction from Library visitors has been positive, come in and see for yourself.

Now, the two major questions are:
1- How many books in these sculptures?
And 2- What’s left for next year?

JCU's library staff wish you a Merry Christmas!!
